Gracey came for a visit today. She was a student of mine when she was in the seventh grade and I had her until she graduated. She hated me at first because I was tough, but I eventually won her over. We're great friends now. I am so proud of how well she is doing now. Students like her made teaching worth it!

Isn't that a wonderful feeling? When someone from the past visits you especially a student of yours. That was nice of her to visit you. Which one are you in the picture?

Yes, Allison. She was the "typical" teenager girl. I think we were so much alike, that we butted heads. I was a tough teacher, had to be, because I was so much smaller than my students. :)
