I Am Getting Old in My Son's Eyes.

Brendan and his friend, Tyler, were going through a drawer of mine and found a old newspaper that I had bought on January, 17, 1991. If you know anything about history, that was the date that America “officially” went to War, the First Gulf War.

A lover of history, I bought the paper to keep since it was really the first war that I would remember. I thought it would be “cool” to have it one day. I did end up showing it in my history classes, but it has been eight years since I have been a teacher, so I forgot about the paper.

Until last night…. when Brendan saw it and said, “Mommy, is this your paper you bought during the Civil War?”

Dear God, no! Haha! I think I need to teach him a little more history! :)

WWC (Wind and Five)

Okay, I have to post the pictures from my other blog over here today because the files are too big for wordpress.

I hope to get back to posting pictures on a regular basis soon.

The WWC is brought to you by Tink.

Short Break

Since my grandmother's death, things have been a little crazy here. I have a bunch of pictures on my camera, but have not had time to upload them. I am hoping to this weekend. I will be back soon!

Spring Blossoms

What I get to look at outside my bedroom window every morning. Well, at least for a few weeks before the flowers all fall off.

Shark's Game

My neighbor invited Brendan and me to a Shark's game last night. They played the L.A. Kings, and beat them 5-2!

It was the last home game of the season, and we had a blast! They even gave us Shark's Fleece Blankets for "Fan Appreciation Night."
