Yesterday, when I was going through Brendan's school folder, I found this! He told me his teacher made him write it because he called a little boy in his class, "a dummy."

Great American's Day

Brendan had his "Great American's" program at his school today.  They do this ever year at President's Day to honor all the past "American Heroes."  

He had a solo too!  He was so proud.  

The picture is not the best quality.  I do not have the best camera for far away picture (a horrible zoom) and the camera itself it dying on me.  What is a person supposed to do!?!  Oh, and I blurred the faces of the other kids.  It's not THAT bad! LOL!

A Much Better Color

Spring is almost here, and today proved it!

Oh, and don't mind the pink in the background.  That's only the primer, but it is funny to see the reaction of people when they drive by my house.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Since Brendan did not have school today, I moved all my piano lessons to Friday, and spent the whole day with him. We went to see "The Spiderwick Chronicles" and then went to lunch.

Right now, he's the only man in my life. I am enjoying every minute with him!

Sick Day

Brendan had a sick day from school today.  Not because he was sick, but the "whole school." Well, not the whole school, but enough that the administration decided to close it down for a couple days to disinfect it.

The only thing is that they gave two days of work to all the students so technically they will not lose those days of classes.  We never get snow days here (in fact, I had my heater off for two days), so having a "sudden" day off is exciting for us, no matter what the reason.

This is Brendan doing his schoolwork.  The baby I watch loves him, and went over to put her head on his shoulder and watch him.  He's smiling because she is standing on his leg, not because he loves schoolwork.  LOL!

New Hair Cut

I had about three inches cut from my hair today.  I wanted to go a little shorter, but have to wait until my layers grow a little longer.  I am just tired of sticking it up in a ponytail, and I am too lazy to fit it every day.  :)

Going Wild!

It is a half hour before bedtime, and he is running around the living room like crazy.  Maybe, he should not have had that root beer! LOL!

New Hair Style!

Brendan came in my office today and said, "Mommy, Look! I have long hair." The crazy thing is that I used to do that with the pom-pom shakers too. I always thought it would be cool to have long, think hair like that.

Yep, I was one weird child.

Brendan is in AWANA at our church. Well, today they had what you call "Spark-A-Rama" where you play different relay games against different churches with the same program.

Well, our church kicked butt, I mean, won! Haha! I do not think I laughed so hard in a long time. It's amazing what a little craziness will do for your spirit!

Okay, I actually took this picture yesterday, but planned on posting it for today. I had this cake for Brendan when he came home from school yesterday! It was YUMMY! :)

A New Home for "Goldie"

We have had this fish for two years now, the longest I have ever owned a goldfish. He is getting so big, that the bowl he was in was not enough room for him any longer.

So, Friday night, we went out and bought him a new home. This new home cost me $45.00! I swear, if this fish dies now, I am going to be one very upset woman! :)
