Saying Good-bye

Our Grandma Bowen died tonight. She has had Alzheimer's for the past five years, and her body finally wore down.

We are heart-broken, but we also know that she is in a better place, without anymore pain.

I will start posting pictures again soon. Sorry, I have been absent lately.

Lunch with "Old" Friends

My friend, Debbie and I, met with another friend, Suzan, whom we have not see for ten years, today at lunch. It was so much fun "catching up."

It is also compelling to realize that behind the "smiles" that there would have been such heartache through the past ten years. We have "grown up," since we met so long ago, yet we still feel like the same persons we were too.

Will Play For Pokemon Cards

My nephews and their friends have been collecting these cards for the past few weeks, and Brendan just started. He has about six of them, whereas the others have pages full.

Brendan decided that he will try to collect change from anyone who enters or leaves our house. He is playing the piano right now, so it really looks like he is playing for "tips."

God bless him. His birthday is in three weeks. Maybe I should get him some? :)

A New Wii Game!

My son was given the new High School Musical Wii game from his aunt for Easter.  The boys had a great time.  Even my sister and brother-in-law got in on the action, but they would kill me if I posted their picture up on this.  Haha!

Sorry for the lack of photos the past few days.  Between visiting my grandma and getting the flu, I just had not had time.

Flowers For You

I took this picture about a week ago, but did not get a chance to post it. I am doing it today, because I have to go out of town this morning. My grandmother had to be put in the hospital and she is not doing well.

I will "not cheat" tomorrow. :)
